Terms of Service

Welcome to the WeRead platform, which is owned and operated by MOBOREADER TECHNOLOGY USA CO.LTD. These terms of service, including our Privacy Policy, are a contract between you and MOBOREADER. By using WeRead.net, creating your WeRead account, and using the site or our mobile applications to post content to the WeRead community, or to access and view WeRead content or other user content, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use the WeRead Services.

Ability to Accept Terms of Service

You affirm that you are 18 years of age or older, and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in these Terms of Service, and to abide by and comply with these Terms of Service.

In any case, you affirm that you are 18 or older, as the Service is not intended for people under 18. If you are under 18 years of age, then please do not use the Service.

WeRead User Accounts

You cannot browse very much on the site or use the Services without registering for an account. To get the most out of the WeRead platform, you will need to register, choose an account name, and set a password.

You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your password confidential. If you share your account information with anyone, that other person may be able to take control of the account, and we may not be able to determine who is the proper account holder. If you find out that someone has used your account without your permission, you should report it at support@moboreader.net.

Your Content and Conduct

As a MOBOREADER product account holder, you may submit content to certain MOBOREADER services, including comics, images, novels, links, and user comments. MOBOREADER does not guarantee confidentiality for any content you submit.

You are solely responsible for your own content and the consequences of submitting and publishing it on a MOBOREADER service.

You affirm, represent, and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to publish the content you submit, and that such content does not violate, misappropriate, or infringe any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights of any other person or entity.

You further agree that content submitted to a MOBOREADER service will not contain third-party copyrighted material or material subject to other proprietary rights unless you have permission from the rightful owner or are otherwise legally entitled to post the content and grant the required license rights.

You further agree that you will not submit content or other materials that are contrary to applicable local, national, or international laws and regulations. MOBOREADER expressly disclaims liability in connection with content submitted to the service and reserves the right to remove content without prior notice.

Our Rights in the Services

We reserve all rights in the sites, the services, their look and feel, and our content. You may not copy or adapt any portion of our code or visual design elements, including logos, without express written permission from MOBOREADER.

MOBOREADER may change, terminate, or restrict access to any aspect of the Services at any time without notice. We may remove any content you post or submit for any reason. MOBOREADER may access, read, preserve, and disclose information as reasonably necessary to satisfy law, enforce these terms, detect or prevent fraud or security issues, respond to support requests, or protect the rights, property, or safety of the Services, its users, and the public.

Copyright Violations

All books included on the platform are original content or lawfully authorized by our partners and should not be replicated without permission.

MOBOREADER has adopted a policy toward copyright infringement in accordance with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you would like to submit a claim of copyright infringement, please email support@moboreader.net with the subject line "Copyright". MOBOREADER reserves the right to remove allegedly infringing content without prior notice and may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

You authorize us to act as your agent to issue takedown notices under the DMCA or similar legislation for infringing or allegedly infringing materials contained in or displayed on third-party platforms or services.

Things You Should and Shouldn't Do

We expect all users to behave responsibly and help keep WeRead a safe, fun, and caring environment for story lovers.

Do not break the law or violate other people's rights, contracts, or legal duties.

Do not distribute software viruses or anything designed to interfere with the proper function of any software, hardware, or equipment on the site.

Do not try to damage or disrupt WeRead, bypass security measures, gain unauthorized access to any system, data, password, or other information, or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or that of our providers.

Do not scrape WeRead or use manual or automated methods to crawl, spider, or remove content from any part of the site or services.

Do not steal content from WeRead without permission, or change, translate, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit consent from the author.

Do not reverse engineer any aspect of the site or services in an effort to access source code, underlying ideas, or algorithms.

WeRead is for personal and non-commercial use only. Do not sell access to the site or services or use them to advertise goods or services.

Virtual Currency and Purchases

While viewing content on one or more MOBOREADER platforms, you may have the opportunity to use virtual currency to access virtual goods such as story episodes. These currencies have no real-world value and may only be exchanged for designated items within the platform.

Regardless of the consideration offered or paid in exchange for virtual currency, you do not have ownership rights in items obtained with virtual currency. Price and availability of items are subject to change without notice. You may not sell or otherwise transfer any items, virtual currency, content, or information from any MOBOREADER platform to any third party in exchange for anything of value.

MOBOREADER thanks you for supporting our services. Without your purchases and participation, we would not be able to provide and improve the services we offer.

If content you paid to view is removed from the platform by the content owner within 7 days of your purchase before you have had a chance to view it, please contact support@moboreader.net with the subject CONTENT REMOVED BEFORE VIEWED and we will work with you to exchange your unlocked, unread episodes for WeRead Coins.

Deleting Your Account

You have the right to opt out of the Services at any time by sending a written notification with the subject line "Opt Out Notice" to support@moboreader.net.

We may suspend or terminate your account or cease providing you with all or part of the Services at any time and for any reason we deem appropriate. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you by the email address associated with your account, through in-app messages, or the next time you attempt to access your account.

Disclaimers, Limitations of Liability and Indemnification

Each subsection below applies to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law. Nothing in this section is intended to limit any rights you may have which may not be lawfully limited.

Your use of our Services and any content is solely at your own risk. They are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. MOBOREADER specifically disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, security, title, or non-infringement.

All content, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, is the sole responsibility of the person who originated such content. We do not endorse or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of such content or communications.

When you use the Services, you release MOBOREADER from claims, damages, and demands of every kind arising out of or related to disputes between users, disputes involving third parties, or the Services.

MOBOREADER will not be liable to you for damages arising from your use of, or in connection with, the Services and any content. In no event shall MOBOREADER's aggregate liability exceed one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).

If your actions lead to claims against us, or if you breach these Terms of Service, you shall compensate us for liabilities, losses, claims, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and costs, arising from or related to your use or misuse of the Services.

The site and services may contain links to third-party websites. When you access those sites, you do so at your own risk. We do not control or endorse them.

Serving Ads

We may display third-party advertisements and promotions in connection with the Services so that some users can continue to access them without charge. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and those advertisers.

General Terms

Our Terms of Service may change from time to time. If they do, we will notify you of any material changes on the site or by email. Your continued use of the Services after any change means that you agree to the revised Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between MOBOREADER and you concerning the Services and supersede any prior agreements regarding the Services.

If MOBOREADER does not exercise or enforce a particular right or provision under these Terms of Service, that does not mean we have waived that right or provision. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms of Service are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Service will take place in HKSAR courts.

These Terms of Service are personal to you. You may not assign, transfer, or sublicense them without prior written consent from MOBOREADER. MOBOREADER may assign, transfer, or delegate its rights and obligations without notice and without your consent.

Recharge Rules

Users understand and agree that virtual currency purchased for recharge is not subject to an unconditional return policy, and users may not request a refund on the grounds that Coins or Free Coins remain in the account after consumption. Users must carefully confirm their account information when recharging. If users are harmed due to improper operations such as choosing the wrong account number or the wrong recharge type, they may not require compensation from the app.
